Is Glue Pull Repair Safe for Paint Protective Film?

Yes, glue pull repair can typically be used on panels with a paint protective film, also known as Chip Guard. As with any aftermarket paint protectors—including ceramic coatings—there is always a chance of failure due to the variables in the film and its age.

Allow glue to cool thoroughly after applying until it is cool to the touch to minimize the risk of damaging the paint protective film. To remove the glue, gently warm the glue and apply a GPR glue release solution.

Any remaining glue should be carefully picked away. Never scrape residual glue as it can damage the paint protective film.
